Following the grand success of the 2015 edition, VASTRA – 2016 is all set to blaze a new precedent. Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) jointly announce 5th edition of VASTRA viz. “VASTRA – An International Textile and Apparel Fair 2016” (VASTRA – 2016) scheduled from 20th to 23rd October, 2016 at Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre, Sitapura Industrial Area, Jaipur, India.
VASTRA, an all-encompassing trade fair and conference on Textiles and Apparel, presents a fusion of the finest and the latest in textile products – from fibre to fashion, services and technology. Crafted to create business opportunities, it aims at revitalizing existing business ties and forging of new business relations. It is the ideal platform to enter JVs, strategic alliances and partnerships worldwide, launch new products, as well as, harness new locations for setting up businesses in India. It is also a place for disseminating technology and interacting with R&D Labs and experts for solution in technology and latest trends.
VASTRA, since its inception in 2012 has created a space for itself in the calendar of international exhibitions on textiles and apparel. VASTRA – 2015 saw presence of 252 exhibitors covering entire textile domain, 302 International buyers from across the globe and 118 Indian buying houses. 4605 structured B2B meetings in VASTRA-2015 generated a whopping US$ 69 million worth of business.
Live demos of traditional textile crafts, business fashion shows, concurrent conferences, participation of Indian states, networking events are a few special recurring features.
VASTRA – 2016, the 5th Edition of VASTRA promises to create a new paradigm in terms of relevance and new product offerings in textiles and apparel while presenting enhanced business opportunities for all stakeholders. Home furnishing will be an attraction of this edition of VASTRA.
One of the added attractions of VASTRA-2016 will be the combination of B2C component along with B2B. VASTRA-2016, as usual, will remain a B2B trade fair. First three days will be devoted exclusively to B2B and the last day i.e. 23rd October, 2016 will have B2C activities, involving retail sales. This will provide simultaneous opportunities to those exhibitors who may be looking for directly reaching the end users as well. VASTRA-2016, in its new setup, will provide much more enhanced business opportunity to all stakeholders.
